How to Apply
When you have selected the right type of self-adhesive rubber strip according to you need, you will need to make sure that it is properly applied on the surface first so that it stays there for long. Follow these application instructions recommended for best results:
Clean the surface to ensure it is free from debris, solvents and oils
Make sure that it is dry, smooth and non-porous
Remove stubborn stains and grease using an only mild solvent like isopropyl alcohol
Grip the surface by its sides and do not touch the adhesive
Press the rubber strip firmly on the surface to apply it on
Make sure that the temperature is between 70° and 80°F or 21° and 27°C
Make sure it is in the right place because it cannot be repositioned later without damaging the adhesive
Also, make sure that you allow at least 24 hours before applying any heavy force onto it for the best results. This will give the rubber strip the required time to ‘cure’.
